After driving hours from windy Chicago Teddy finally arrived in sunny St. Louis, Missouri. To be honest, except from the famous Gateway Arch, Teddy didn’t know anything about the city on the eastern line of the state of Missouri. His first stop was the Cafe Rooster in the city center. It is known for the best brakfast in Missouri. There you’ll have a great atmosphere and an awesome breakfast choice from sausages, breakfast potatoes, fried eggs to french toast, egg dishes and crepes. The cafe is located at 1104 Locust Street, downtown St. Louis. The people were friendly and the food delicious.
You should definetely walk through the city center and to the Arch. The Gateway Arch marks downtown St. Louis and the historic center. The world-famous stainless steel monument is also the world’s tallest arch. Teddy’s secret: Don’t forget to take a 630-foot ride to the top of the arch for the best view over the Gateway City. Another Tip for the evening: St. Louis is also known for the St. Louis Micro-breweries where you can experience a big variety of premium brands. Admittedly, you don’t have to spend a lot of time in St. Louis but it is definetely worth making a stop there.
